Qatar summons Iran envoy over LNG tanker attack
Qatar’s Foreign Ministry summoned Iran’s deputy ambassador to protest the targeting of a Qatari LNG tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, according to a ministry statement.
The ministry said the protest note called on Iran to immediately cease any practices that threaten regional security and to stop endangering the security of global navigation and energy supplies.
