Russia is expanding military exercises on the Afghan border

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the country will send another 800 troops to participate in military exercises on the Afghan border and will double the number of heavy combat hardware. As tensions escalate in Afghanistan, the exercise will be held from August 5 to 10 with the participation of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
